We organized the first recruitment fair for the year of 2022 on January 17.-23. Once again, the event was a success; it brought together a great number of students interested in summer job opportunities and recruiting employers. This was the third time that Tuudo’s digital recruitment fair has been arranged and the event has been growing exponentially yearly. The fair has increased popularity and attracts more visitors and recruiting employers every time.
This recruitment fair was carried out in cooperation with Oikotie and Responsible Summer Job -campaign. A total of 80 employers took part in the event, which is 50% more than last year. Nearly 20 000 visitors attended the recruitment fair, and they swiped the employer profiles per day almost 70% more than in January 2021, total number of 340 000 swipes. So overall, this was one of the largest individual recruitment events in Finland.
The fair also offered students an amazing opportunity to get to know the potential employers a bit better through chat and quick interviews. In addition, the students got to participate in Tuudo’s worklife webinar, where dozens of employers gave presentations over four days. This time the presentations were partly divided by theme; we had speeches from employers in the technical and business field as well as social and health sectors among others. After the live event, a recording of the presentations is always available for the ones that were not able to attend the live webinar.
Although the recruitment fair is now over, students can continue to look for job opportunities on Tuudo. Throughout the year we publish suitable job opportunities for students from internships to part-time and fulltime positions on Tuudo Career Paths section. The next Tuudo recruitment fair is organized in September 2022 with a part-time work theme.
